So, here’s the story…

About three years ago, I packed up my life in Florida working as a postman for USPS and landed in Green Valley to help run my mom’s business. You know how it goes—family calls, you answer. It was one of those leaps you don’t overthink because, well, it’s Mom.

Then December 2025 rolled around, and we closed the doors for good. Bittersweet? Absolutely. But here’s the thing about endings—they have a sneaky way of nudging you toward what’s next.

And what came next? People started asking me for rides. Like, a lot. Turns out, showing up for folks is kind of my thing. So now? I’m in the business of getting you where you need to go—no detours, no drama, just good company and reliable wheels.

Getting Started

How do I book a ride?

Book online at www.thatdriverguy.com or fill out the form on our website. I don’t answer the phone when I’m driving as I’m focused on safety and getting someone where they need to go. Booking takes about two minutes, and yes, I’ll confirm everything so you’re not left wondering if we actually got the message.

What areas do you serve?

I cover Green Valley and the surrounding communities. Not sure if I come your way? Just ask! I’m happy to work something out if I can, and if I can’t, I’ll be honest about it—no stringing you along.

How far in advance should I book?

For everyday rides, 24 hours is ideal. For early morning or late night airport runs, big events, or anything that involves the words “I absolutely cannot be late”—book at least 48-72 hours so we can roll out the red carpet (figuratively speaking…).

That said, life happens. Got a last-minute need? Call me anyway. I’ll move mountains if I can.

How much does a ride cost?

Great question, and I promise no smoke and mirrors here. My pricing is based on distance and time so I’ve created custom packages, and I’m happy to give you a quote upfront so there’s no “wait, WHAT?” moments when it’s time to pay. Just tell me where you’re headed, and I’ll give it to you straight.

Are there extra fees I should know about?

Look, we hate surprises as much as you do (well, the bad kind). Here’s the deal:

  • Extra stops? Small fee, totally reasonable if no one else is booked.
  • Luggage? Standard bags are included. Packing your entire closet? Let’s chat.
  • Wait time? Included in our packages. After that, we charge because, well, time is money—even ours.
  • Late-night or holiday rides? There might be a small upcharge because our drivers have families and couches too.
    We’ll always tell you what to expect before you book. Pinky promise.

What payment methods do you accept?

We keep it easy: Cash. I don’t accept chickens, IOUs, or “I’ll get you next time”—sorry, I’ve been burned before. 😉

The Trust Stuff (a.k.a. "Are You Legit?")

Are you legit?

Absolutely, 100%, no exceptions. I am a licensed LLC with Arizona state, have a clean driving record, complied with their requirements, and insured. All pieces necessary for getting you there safe and sound.

What kind of vehicles do you have?

Clean ones. Comfortable ones. The kind you’ll actually enjoy sitting in. My fleet includes a 2020 Honda Civic and a 2022 Kia Telluride.Both with working air-conditioning and heaters. I don’t have wheelchair-accessible options—like a lift, though. And yes, I keep them spotless because nobody wants to sit on mystery crumbs.

Are you insured?

Oh, YES. Fully licensed, fully insured, fully legit. Your safety isn’t something I mess around with. Ever.

When Life Gets Messy

What's your cancellation policy?

I get it—stuff happens. Cancel with at least 1 hour notice and you’re golden. Inside that window, it’s considered a no-show. No-shows are a different story, because… well, come on. Let’s be good to each other, yeah? I have a three strikes rule. If you are a no show three times in a twelve-month period, my system won’t allow you to book for three months.

What if my flight gets delayed?

If you booked an airport pickup, take a breath. I track flights. Seriously. If your plane’s running late, so are we—at no extra charge. Just make sure you gave us your flight info when you booked, and we’ll be there when you land, not three hours earlier tapping our foot impatiently.

What if I need to change my pickup time or location?

No drama! Just give us as much notice as you can. A quick call or text works, and I’ll adjust on our end. Last-minute changes might come with a small fee depending on the situation, but I’ll work with you. I’m flexible like that.

The "Can I Bring..." Questions

Can I bring my kids?

Of course! Kiddos are welcome. However—and this is important—if your child needs a car seat, you’ll need to bring your own and install it yourself. It’s a liability thing, and honestly, you know your kid’s seat better than we do anyway. Safety first, always.

Can I bring my dog?

I love dogs! (Cats too. We don’t discriminate.) But due to allergies (mine and perhaps the next passenger), I have to say, no.

Can I bring luggage? A lot of luggage?

Standard luggage? Bring it on. Seventeen suitcases, a golf bag, and a surfboard? Let’s have a conversation first so we can send the right vehicle. Just mention it when you book and we’ll make sure you’ve got room for all your stuff.

Special Occasions & Extra Touches

Do you do weddings, proms, or special events?

Do I ever! There’s something pretty magical about being part of someone’s big day—whether it’s a prom kid feeling like a million bucks or a couple heading off into their happily-ever-after. I’ll work with you to make sure everything runs smoothly. Because the last thing you need on your wedding day is transportation stress.

Can I book a round trip or have the driver wait for me?

Yep! This is perfect for doctor’s appointments, quick errands, or that winery tour where someone definitely needs to not be driving. Wait times are included in many of my services but if you need something special, just let me and we’ll work out the details (and the price) upfront.

I like an occasional drink in my favorite bar, will you give me a ride home, book a round trip or wait for me?

Nope! Sorry. I learned my lesson when I picked up someone from a pizza joint. They evidently liked a lot of beer with their pizza. When they got in my car they asked if I liked pepperoni pizza. When I told them it was one of my favorites, their pizza and beer ended up in liquid form in my front seat.

The "Oops" Department

What if I leave something in the car?

First: don’t panic. I check the vehicle after every ride, and I’ve got a lost-and-found system that actually works. Give me a call as soon as you realize your phone/wallet/lucky charm is missing, though I’ll probably call you before you even know it’s missing. I can imagine reuniting passengers with everything from laptops to wedding rings to one very loved teddy bear. I’ve got you.

What if something goes wrong during my ride?

I really hope it doesn’t—but if it does, I want to know. Call me directly at 360.607.6071 or email [email protected]. I’ll take your concerns seriously; you’re a real person, and I want you to feel taken care of.
